One year after it was founded, the Department dispacthed a team of engineers to the United States to take training at Varian Corporation. In May, 1982, withing less than a year of pilot manufacturing, the Department successfully produced R.O.C.'s first magnetron, which was put to use in the searching radar of R.O.C. navy's missile speedboats. Over the past decades, the Division has successfully developed a wide variety of subsystem components and established a firm foundation in the high power microwave transmitter technology |
